Policosanol is an extract of plant waxes, most often sugar cane. The P in PAGG stands for policosanol, which Tim says is the most controversial element in the stack. Now, let’s take a deeper dive into what the PAGG stack’s ingredients. Tim emphasizes that this week off is critical. Be sure to take one day off each week and one week off every two months. Follow this dosing schedule six days a week. So prior to meals, you will take AGG, which is simply PAGG minus policosanol. Tim realized he need a more sustainable approach to fat-loss, one that wasn’t riddled with stimulants and side effects. “įollowing the ECA stack, Tim removed stimulants and had to completely “reset” his adrenal system. Either people never stop taking ECA or they substitute in equally strong drugs to avoid chronic fatigue. Tolerance soon developed, and according to the 4-Hour Body, “withdrawal pains lead to a domino effect of stimulant use. On the stack, Ferriss was consuming well over 600 milligrams of caffeine per day. While the ECA stack produced fantastic results, it was marred with side effects. Tim used ECA to be able to produce veins on his stomach for the first time in his life. This stack was composed of ephedrine hydrochloride, caffeine, and aspirin. In the late 1990’s, Ferriss experimented with an effective, yet somewhat dangerous cocktail for fat-loss known as the “ECA” stack. 6 PAGG Stack Resources and Studies PAGG – The Four Horsemen of Fat-Loss

8/27/2023 0 Comments Tiny thief iphone 6s![]() They're trying to make it an "every year" thing, not an "every two years" or "Should I buy something new?" thing. ![]() I think Apple, and the whole phone industry, are trying to change the "Should I upgrade?" question bit by bit. If I had an iPhone 6, I'd wait until next year.or, find a way to sell my phone and trade up without it costing me quite so much. In 64GB or 128GB - never a 16GB (those smaller sizes barely hold enough photos and videos to get by if you're the type of person who doesn't delete). If I were to buy a new phone now and didn't get an iPhone 6, I'd buy this, easily. My kids thought Live Photos were cool, but didn't recognize the difference between those and videos (down the road, I think that'll be true for most people, and that's probably the point). My mom already has an iPhone 6, and other than needing more storage for her photos she didn't see anything new she needed, either. My brother-in-law just wanted Live Photos to help him go back and pick better photos, like Burst Mode. My wife is long overdue for an upgrade from the iPhone 4S, but she didn't care about 3D Touch. Most of my friends and family didn't necessarily care about the iPhone's new features. Do you want it later, or now? Down the road this is going to enable major, major changes in how iPhones and iOS work. It's not a really matter of whether 3D Touch is worth upgrading to now. A good handful of apps have emerged to take advantage of 3D Touch, but it's going to take a while before it feels widespread.ģD Touch turns the keyboard into a trackpad. ![]() They're not all that customizable, either: what 3D Touch does, or doesn't, do is mostly up to app developers. And, those menus that pop up don't offer all the options I'd want. But you don't need to use it, you can always do things the same old way as always, with regular touch controls. It's helpful, and surprisingly utilitarian. The ability to pull up menus in the iPhone almost feels like right-clicking on a computer and getting a contextual menu. Pop-out previews are a really clever idea links within Safari preview Web pages without any actual clicks. Apple's building a common language, and evolving what your phone-sized computer can do. When I hold an app and see a menu of extra options under my thumb, it feels almost like a computer, not a phone (the latest MacBooks, which utilize a similar but less sensor-studded trackpad technology Apple calls Force Touch, have pop-up previews in Safari, too). I like using 3D Touch to preview links, or to pop-up related apps. And for the past few years, S phones have introduced evolutionary changes that seriously evolved the phone the iPhone 4S added Siri, and the iPhone 5S debuted the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. It's the phone for people who didn't get the iPhone 6 last year. That's obvious: it's an S-year iPhone, and Apple always uses these subtle every-other-year S upgrades to tweak design and ramp up processor speeds. And its newest features aren't as instantly game-changing, at least not on the surface. This year's follow-up iPhone, the iPhone 6S, doesn't improve on that battery. But when I showed her everything else 3D Touch does, she said, "I'm not sure I'd really use this." She pressed on the hypnotically-animated lock screen, a swimming fish. I showed her 3D Touch, Apple's newest technology on these iPhones. 15 ways iOS 10 will make the iPhone better.iOS 10: All the new features, tips and guides. ![]() The app is more or less the same across all operating systems. Still, though, 80 bucks for three years of use is a steal, especially for a VPN as good as PIA. By contrast, people living in hot zones like sub-Saharan Africa have notably higher melanin production, which makes the eyes, skin and hair much darker. It’s been suggested that the cooler climate of northern Europe may have encouraged the rise of a population of people with lighter eyes, hair and skin. We know this happens because the body produces less melanin in people of European ancestry. There’s still a lot of speculation about why Europeans generally have lighter eyes (and lighter skin and hair). Now, geneticists suggest everybody with non-brown eyes can trace their eye color back to that one person. Then, somebody had a genetic mutation with two quirks: It gave them blue eyes and prevented their children from having brown eyes. Genetic research suggests that until about 10,000 years ago, pretty much everyone had brown eyes. Eye color: The role of genetics and environment And some people’s eyes have different shades in different parts of the iris. Similarly, people with hazel, gray and green eyes have varying quantities of tint in the front layer. (This same effect makes the sky appear blue.) Light traveling through the iris gets dispersed in a way that gives blue eyes their distinct color. On top of that, blue eyes are not truly blue. Most people have brown tint in the back layer, but lighter eyes have less tint in the front layer.īlue eyes have almost no tint in the front layer of the iris. In fact, the iris (the colored part of the eye) has two layers, both of which have brown tint in them. That’s because eye color comes from melanin, the same brown pigment that gives color to our hair and skin. Why do eyes come in so many colors?Īlmost all humans have some brown in their eyes. Quite a bit. ![]() Brown eyes in an otherwise mostly light-eyed region may point to a genetic leftover and a time in history during which everyone in the world had brown eyes. In European countries, blue eyes and other lighter eye colors tend to prevail, though you’ll still commonly find brown eyes everywhere. It’s the dominant eye color in people with Native American and African ancestry, as well as those with family trees that trace back to Asia, the Middle East, Central or South America and other nations where brown eye color is the most common. That the majority of Americans have light eyes is likely a reflection of the country’s earliest immigration patterns, with many new inhabitants coming from European countries where blue eyes dominate.Īt the same time, nearly half of the U.S. A poll conducted for the American Academy of Ophthalmology resulted in the following percentages: The stats for the United States shake out a bit differently. The website takes a stab at estimating the breakdown of eye colors worldwide. For example, Asians typically have brown eyes, while Europeans are more likely to have eyes of blue or other lighter hues. The most common eye colors depend largely on geographic location. Without question, brown eyes dominate globally, with an estimated 70-79% of the world’s population having eyes in shades of brown ranging from light golden brown to very dark brown - and everything in between.īlue eyes are a distant second, followed by hazel eyes, green eyes, then “other.” This last category includes amber eyes, gray eyes and even violet eyes. Most common eye color? The browns have it.
